Privacy Policy

BusinessOS ("we", "us") provides order management, inbox and business tools for online sellers in Bangladesh at https://www.businessos.bd. This policy explains what data we process and how.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone number of business owners and team members.
  • Business data: orders, customers, products, stock, invoices and accounts that you add or connect.
  • Meta Platform data (only when you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram or WhatsApp account): page name and ID, page access token, messages and comments sent to your page, and the sender's public name and ID.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information for security and fraud prevention.

2. How we use data

  • To show your customer messages and comments in the BusinessOS inbox and let you reply.
  • To manage orders, delivery, courier booking, invoices and reports.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fake orders.

We do not sell data, do not use Meta Platform data for advertising profiles, and do not share it with third parties except service providers needed to run the service (hosting) or when required by law.

3. Storage and security

Data is stored on secured servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS). Access tokens and API keys are stored in restricted storage that is never shown in the browser. Only members of your workspace can see your business data.

4. Retention

We keep data while your account is active. When you disconnect an integration, its access token is deleted. When you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days.

5. Data deletion instructions

You can delete Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp data at any time:

  • In BusinessOS, open Integrations and click Disconnect on the connected page — the token and connection are removed.
  • Or remove the BusinessOS app from Facebook: Settings → Business Integrations → BusinessOS → Remove.
  • Or email support@businessos.bd with subject "Data Deletion Request". We delete all related data within 30 days and confirm by email.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
